Hi, I'm JosaiahFounder of AM AI — AI receptionists and web design for small businesses

"I found this idea scrolling on Instagram, actually. Saw a video about building AI agents, cold calling businesses, asking if they'd adopt AI. That got me thinking. I was just talking it through with Claude, and it clicked, there are roofing companies and small businesses all around me missing calls every day because no one's there to pick up, running on websites that haven't been touched in years. I figured I could actually fix that, and do it for a price that makes sense for them. So that's AM AI."

"I write the prompts, build the site, and when something breaks, I'm the one who fixes it. If AI isn't the right answer for your problem, I'll tell you that too."

"The part I care most about is how it sounds. Nobody likes calling a business and hitting a phone menu, so I build receptionists that hold a real conversation. The caller asks a question and gets a straight answer, like talking to a good front desk — not 'press one for service.'"

"I chose the name Asahi no Megumin, meaning blessing of the rising sun, because in Japan, the sunrise symbolizes hope and a new dawn. Megumin comes from the Japanese name Megumi, meaning blessing, and I wanted that warmer, more personal feel behind the brand. I believe AM AI can be that same kind of hope for small businesses, a way for them to grow, compete, and keep up with much larger companies, instead of getting left behind."

    Who you're working with

    One person, start to finish

AM AI is Asahi no Megumin, LLC, registered in Indiana and run out of Charlestown. There's no account manager, no handoff to a team you never meet. The person who takes your first call is the person who writes your receptionist's prompts, builds your site, and fixes it when something breaks.

That's a real constraint and it shapes how the work gets quoted. Projects are taken on one at a time, scoped honestly, and priced so a small crew can actually say yes. If a job is bigger than what one person should promise, you'll hear that before you pay for anything.

Most of the businesses AM AI works with are trades — roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC. They have the same problem in common: the phone rings while everyone's on a job, and the homeowner calls the next name on the list. Fixing that is a smaller, more boring job than most technology companies want it to be, which is exactly why it goes unfixed.

The other half of the work is websites. A lot of trades sites were built once, years ago, and nobody's looked at them on a phone since. A business only ever sees the customers who called. The ones who opened the site, judged it, and left never show up anywhere.
